HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK POLICY

The Company is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions for all employees and strives for zero harm to personnel, material and non material assets. This is an integral part of our business and has equal status to other aspects of business performance, on a monthly basis any accidents, incidents or near misses are reported to the Group. The Company ethos is to maintain standards at least equal to the best practice.

The Company is responsible for:

  • Assessing risks to the health and safety of employees and identifying what measures are needed to comply with its health and safety obligations.
  • Providing and maintaining locations, equipment, protective clothing and systems of work that are safe and without risks to health. Details of the qualified First Aiders are posted on the Company’s notice boards, and first aid boxes are placed at strategic positions throughout the premises.
  • Ensuring that all necessary safety devices are installed and maintained on equipment.
  • Ensuring that the design process for its products shall consider the Health and Safety of employees, customers and users.
  • Providing information, instruction, training and supervision in safe working methods and procedures.
  • Providing and maintaining a healthy and safe place of work.
  • Promoting the cooperation of employees to ensure safe and healthy conditions and systems of work.  
  • Establishing emergency procedures as required.
  • Monitoring, reviewing and progressive development of the health and safety management systems, and periodic auditing of these systems to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness. Any revisions to the management system will be brought to the attention of employees.
